Pre-Install Read

The Bronco's audio system has evolved over time. Initially, non-B&O models lacked a subwoofer, using the space for a small shelf. Ford later added a subwoofer in the trunk area, eliminating the shelf. If you have an early model Bronco, please reach out to us as we offer a mesh grill that requires DIY modifications to the trunk trim to make room for the amp.

Front Speaker Upgrade

Step 1: Install Coaxial 3.5" Speaker into Dash

  • Attach fork connectors to the tweeter.
  • Mount the tweeter into the dash using 7mm screws.

Step 2: Install 6.5” Speaker into Kick Panel

  • Attach red connectors to the speaker.
  • Connect the white connector to the OEM Bronco connector.
  • Mount the speaker into the housing using 10mm screws.

Step 3: Repeat on Passenger Side

  • Follow the same steps as the driver’s side for installation.

Rear Roll Bar 6.5" Upgrade

  • Custom Rear Pods:
    • Remove the factory connector from the rear roll bar pods using a small flathead screwdriver.
    • Transfer the connector to the MTI pods with the grommet.
    • Install all included sound deadening material to the rear pods as shown in the video.
    • Mount the pod using the provided hardware, but wait to mount the speaker until the pod is secured.
      • Loosely mount and partially thread the screws in when mounting the rear pods, then walk the screws in to suck the rear pod into the corner for best and easiest installment.

Amp Adjustments:

Please Note:
The LC5iPro is for non-B&O Broncos. For B&O Broncos, the PAC AAMPRO module is used instead, and it requires no settings adjustments, except for the alert chime. Instructions for the alert chime can be found in the PAC AAMPRO installation and owner’s manual.

There are two available amp systems for the Status bundles: the Single V90 Amplifier and the Dual F60 4-Channel / M80 Mono Amplifier. While they are different systems, the installation process for both is the same.

*Please skip the LC5iPro setting Requirements if you have a B&O Bronco.*
