Standard System. What is the standard system?

  • Stock/ OEM factory-equipped standard stereo system. NOT equipped w/ factory subwoofer located in the bed of the Wrangler and behind the rear seats in the Gladiator. Does NOT come stock with the Alpine amplifier located behind the dashboard. Will include 6.75" or 6.5" speaker in sound bar only, without the 1" tweeter.
  • NOTE- ALL JL and JT Jeeps '18- Current, have 4 speakers in the sound bar (2 on each side). Only the Premium (factory installed Alpine amplifier and subwoofer) will receive pods with the tweeters. This is due to the power consumption of the tweeter. Only the Factory Alpine (amplified with subwoofer) systems can handle the power consumption. The Standard pods will not have the tweeter, however the pod has been designed to accommodate the Standard systems. The single coax speaker has a built in tweeter to provide the full range of sound. Standard System Bundle Option Explanation:

  • 4 Speaker Bundle Option: This selection will not include the (2) 4.5" knee panel speakers.
  • 6 Speaker Bundle Option: This selection will include the (2) 4.5" knee panel speakers.

The wait is over! Our customers have been looking for a quality brand-name plug and play speaker upgrade for their Jeep JL Wrangler and/ or Jeep JT Gladiator that will fit into their Jeep and can be bundled as a Plug and Play kit. Kicker definitely fits the profile with their high quality sound, easy installation with their low profile KS line, and affordable price point.

Regardless if you have the factory amplified system (Premium), or the factory non-amplified system (Standard), we have a bundle that is right for you and your jeep! You'll find the explanation of factory amplified systems (Premium) and factory non-amplified systems (Standard) on the "Package Options" tab.

All of our bundles are pre-wired and completely assembled prior to shipping from our Frederick, Maryland shop. When you get your bundle, it's all ready to drop in your Jeep! Here's what you can expect to be in your Kicker KS Speaker Plug & Play Bundle from Trail Seven with a choice of no knee panel speakers, 4" coax knee speakers, or full range 6.5" component speakers.

KICKER KS-Series Speakers let you play at concert-like volume yet maintain the smoothness and subtlety to please even the most selective ear. Internally dampened polypropylene cones and durable rubber surrounds assist the woofers in creating precise midrange and mid-bass, while high-quality silk-dome tweeters deliver natural, detailed highs.

KSC650 6.5" Coaxial Speakers: With less than two inches of mounting depth and just two millimeters of tweeter protrusion, the KSC6704 is a perfect fit in almost every vehicle on the road today. They work best with 15 to 100 watts of recommended power. See below for more details.

PACKAGE OPTIONS

Factory Amplified:

The easiest way to determine if your jeep is factory amplified or not, is to identify the factory subwoofer which is always paired up with the amplified package.  See pics for easy identification for the '18- '23 Wrangler JL and the '20- '23 Gladiator JT.  If your Jeep is equipped with the below, then you will select Factory Amplified from the drop down menu.

All required speaker adapters will be pre-sized for ease of installation.

Plug & play speaker connectors will be pre-wired, soldered and shrink-wrapped to achieve a professional finish prior to shipping for ease of installation.

Plug and Play bundles will have crossovers soldered and shrink wrapped where required.

Plug and Play bundles will have all speaker pods drilled and set with speakers prior to shipping.
