Alpine’s R-Series Shallow Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure measures at a minimal 5.25” deep to deliver a loud and fun sound in most vehicle applications. Rubber “feet” are adjustable in height to accommodate uneven vehicle floors.
• EXTREME OUTPUT: Don’t let the size fool you – the enclosures feature the same motor movement (20MM of 1-way excursion) as the full-size R2-Series Subwoofers for extreme output in a shallow woofer design. At the heart of the R-Series Shallow Subwoofers is an oversized 4-inch voice coil that houses the lightweight and powerful neodymium magnet for 600W RMS of power handling.
• RELIABLE PERFORMANCE: Integrated cooling fins located in the core of the subwoofer help dissipate the heat generated by the rapid subwoofer movement for enhanced cooling reliability and hours of uninterrupted playtime.
• PRECISE BASS CONTROL: Alpine's Gen2 DD-Linear Magnetic Circuit technology, a compact and efficient dual-gap voice coil structure, allows for better control over the motor, resulting in lower distortion and precise bass control. The preloaded enclosures use the subwoofer frame as bracing for a more ridged design and better bass response.
