If your Jeep is factory amplified, we have a plug and play solution to install a new amplifier, bypass the factory amplifier, and utilize the existing speaker wires out to each speaker. That's right, no need to run new wires from the amp, with our harness, simply route the provided Trail Seven Amp Harness from the amplifier to the factory amplifier location (under steering wheel) and connect our harness!

Compatible with Factory Systems: The LX-Series amplifier is equipped with Kicker's FIT+™ technology, making it compatible with nearly any factory stereo. It also includes high-level speaker wire input adapters for a hassle-free installation. Additionally, the amp’s gain controls are designed with built-in clip lights to help ensure proper gain adjustment.

PACKAGE OPTIONS

Factory or Aftermarket Radio w/ Factory or Non-Factory Amplified Explained


Option 1: Non-Factory Amplified (Standard): Non-factory Amplified= 

  • If your Jeep does not have a factory subwoofer located in the rear, you will not have the Factory Amplified (Premium) system, however some base model systems do include the factory subwoofer, although not equipped with the Premium system.  If your Jeep is equipped with the factory sub, you will need to confirm that you do in fact have the factory amplifier which is located to the left of the steering wheel, right behind the OBD plug (see pics for reference).  If you have the factory sub, but you do not see the factory amplifier, then you will select Option 1 as you do not have the Premium system and will not require the factory amplifier bypass harness in your bundle. 
  • Factory sub locations: JLU= cargo area above the right wheel well area, JL= rear floor of the cargo area, JT= behind the rear bench attached to the wall about mid way. 

Our system will directly connect to your factory radio using the added PAC AamPRO module. You will not need to run a new speaker wire as our wiring harness will allow you to utilize the existing factory speaker wire from the radio to the speakers saving time and cost.

Option 2: Factory Amplified (Premium): Factory Amplified=

  • Your Jeep will have a factory subwoofer. 
  • Factory sub locations: JLU= cargo area above the right wheel well area, JL= rear floor of the cargo area, JT= behind the rear bench attached to the wall about mid way. 

Our system will be a direct connection to your factory radio with the use of the added PAC AamPRO module. You will not need to run a new speaker wire as our wiring harness will allow you to utilize the existing factory speaker wire from the factory amplifier to the speakers saving time and cost. We will include a harness connection which will bypass the factory amplifier and will utilize the factory speaker wire.

  • Installation Guide- Dual Amp ('18 - '23): The power route will differ as the LX Amp bundle uses a 1/0 cable which routes under the Jeep from the under the passenger seat to the battery.  Use this guide for the amp installation portion.  Updated 1/0 power route diagram and routing to follow: LINK
