Alpine SPV-65X-WRA Full Speaker Bundle Installation Guide '07 - '18 JK Wrangler
Please follow these installation tips when you're ready to install your new Alpine Bundle into your 2007-2018 Jeep JK.
These tips are intended to be used in conjunction with our full installation video below:
2007- 2014 Jeep JK Bundle
1. Dash Tweeters-
- Remove and install per the video.
- You will not use the flat bracket as the speakers will fit directly into the tombstone housings on the dash.
- Choose the connector that is labeled 07-14 to connect to your Jeep.
- Choose either the 0db or the +3db depending on your listening choice.
2. Knee Panels-
- Remove and install per the video.
- TIP- Cover speaker cone and edge with your hand/ fingers to not puncture should the drill bit slip off from the screw head while tightening screws.
- Speakers will fit directly into the pods and will use the factory screws.
3. Soundbar-
- It is not necessary to remove the Soundbar-
- Remove and install per the video.
- TIP- Cover speaker cone and edge with your hand/ fingers to not puncture should the drill bit slip off from the screw head while tightening screws.
- Prep 6.5" speaker for the 07-14 mounting as mentioned and demonstrated in the install video.
- The tweeter will mount to the bracket that attaches to the speaker.
- Use the connections as shown in the demonstration video.
2015- 2018 Jeep JK Bundle
1. Dash Tweeters-
- Remove and install per the video.
- Use the flat bracket to mount the tweeter inside of, then screw into the dash using the factory hardware.
- Choose the connector that is labeled 07-17 (however this is for the 07-18 JK) to connect to your Jeep.
- Choose either the 0db or the +3db depending on your listening choice.
2. Knee Panels-
- Remove and install per the video.
- TIP- Cover speaker cone and edge with your hand/ fingers to not puncture should the drill bit slip off from the screw head while tightening screws.
- Speakers will fit directly into the pods and will use the factory screws.
