IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TJ OWNERS:
Due to the unique nature of the TJ model, even from the factory, there may be wiring, plugs, or components that differ from the original specifications. Modifications may also have been made by previous owners. While our audio systems are designed to be plug-and-play, these variations can sometimes affect compatibility.
We strongly recommend inspecting your vehicle's existing audio system prior to purchase to ensure compatibility. If any adjustments or modifications are required to complete the installation, these are the responsibility of the customer and may not be covered by the standard installation guide.
Thank you for your understanding.

Additional Sony Installation Tips:
- Sirius XM Tuner - If you selected “Maintain Sirius/XM” at checkout, you’ll receive the SAT1.
- Maestro SAT1: This will already be attached to your new Sirius/XM tuner. The tuner is located underneath the rear chassis of the Sony radio.
- Your Jeep did not come with a factory Satellite Radio option, you will need to use the provided Sirius XM antenna cable (located in the spare parts bag).
-
Sony Microphone - You will need to use the provided Sony microphone with our bundle. You will need to run the wire and plug into Red port labeled “MIC”. We recommend placing it on top of the steering column so it is out of the way and picks up less wind noise.
-
GPS Antenna - Included in your installation parts bag is a GPS Antenna. Use the provided antenna to plug into the back of the radio. You may choose to mount the antenna anywhere that it can receive signal. We recommend routing the antenna as high as you can place the antenna, like on the roll cage.
