Pre-Install Read (For 2025+ Bronco Only with B&O)

Step 1: Install Crossover Behind Glovebox

• Mount the crossover behind the glovebox, using the bar at the top of the cavity.
• Route the tweeter wire through the glovebox to the top dash.
• Secure the crossover to the bar with a zip tie.

Step 2: Install Tweeter into Dash

• Attach fork connectors to the tweeter.
• Mount the tweeter into the dash using 7mm screws.

Step 3: Install 6.5” Speaker into Kick Panel

• Attach red connectors to the speaker.
• Connect the white connector to the OEM Bronco connector.
• Mount the speaker into the housing using 10mm screws.

Step 4: Install Crossover on Driver’s Side

• Remove the silver plate under the steering column with a 10mm tool.
• Attach the crossover to the back of the plate using zip ties.
• Reinstall the plate onto the Bronco.

Step 5: Repeat on Passenger Side

• Follow the same steps as the driver’s side for installation.

SECTION 2 - Rear Roll Bar 6.5" Upgrade

Trail Seven Rear Pods: Your Trail Seven rear pods arrive ready to install: the Alpine Status HDZ-65 speakers are already mounted, the pods are already sound treated, and a new connector is already attached. There's nothing to assemble.

1. Remove the factory rear roll bar speaker as shown in the video.
2. Loosen the top factory metal bracket on top of the roll bar. Raptor: this is a tight fit. Push the front of the pod up first, then lower it into position.
3. Connect the speaker connector.
4. Insert the provided top bolts into the speaker pod and hand tighten.
5. Insert the factory bolt into the side of the roll bar and hand tighten.
6. Tighten the top bolts (factory and new), then tighten the side bolt.
7. Repeat on the other side.

Section 3 - Amp Adjustments:

Please Note: For B&O Broncos, the PAC AAMPRO module is used and requires no settings adjustments, except for the alert chime. Instructions for the alert chime can be found in the PAC AAMPRO installation and owner’s manual.

There are two available amp systems for the Status bundles: the Single V90 Amplifier and the Dual F60 4-Channel / M80 Mono Amplifier. While they are different systems, the installation process for both is the same.

Set gain the same way on every amp (5 steps): front, then rear, then sub.

1. Turn the gain you're setting to minimum.
2. Play a song you know. Raise the radio volume until it distorts, about 75%.
3. Lower the radio one step, until clean. Leave it there.
4. Slowly raise the amp gain until the speakers distort.
5. Back the gain off slightly until it sounds clean. Done.

Start with the radio's bass, mid and treble at 0, sound enhancements off, and balance and fade centered. Once gain is set, use the radio's EQ for "salt and pepper" adjustments.
