The following guide will walk you through the entire installation which includes a step by step catalog.  Our installation video is in the works but this guide will get you over the finish line in the meantime.

Amp Adjustments: 

Please Note: The LC5iPro is for non-B&O Broncos. For B&O Broncos, the PAC AAMPRO module is used instead, and it requires no settings adjustments, except for the alert chime. Instructions for the alert chime can be found in the PAC AAMPRO installation and owner’s manual. 

There are two available amp systems for the Dual Kicker Amps: the 4 channel is the 360.4 Amplifier and the mono amplifiers have choice between the 800.1 Mono or 1200.1 Mono Amplifier. While they are different systems, the installation process for both is the same.

Amplifier Settings

Your PAC module (B&O) or AudioControl LC5i Pro (Non-B&O) ships pre-set by Trail Seven. Leave it as shipped. Before setting the amp, turn the vehicle off and start every gain at minimum.

Set gain the same way on every amp (5 steps): front, then rear, then sub.

1. Turn the gain you're setting to minimum.
2. Play a song you know. Raise the radio volume until it distorts, about 75%.
3. Lower the radio one step, until clean. Leave it there.
4. Slowly raise the amp gain until the speakers distort.
5. Back the gain off slightly until it sounds clean. Done.

Start with the radio's bass, mid and treble at 0, sound enhancements off, and balance and fade centered. Once gain is set, use the radio's EQ for "salt and pepper" adjustments.

Kicker CX360.4 + CX800.1 / CX1200.1 (Kicker Dual CX Amp Kit)

• CX360.4 (speakers, set first): INPUT LEVEL - LO, FADER - ON, X-OVER - HI 80 Hz (switch only with the system off), KICKEQ - 0 dB, GAIN (AMP 1, AMP 2) - 5 steps (typically ends around 10 o'clock)
• CX800.1 / CX1200.1 (sub, set after): INPUT LEVEL - LO, LP X-OVER - 80 Hz, KICKEQ - 0 dB to start (max +6 dB), GAIN - 5 steps, blend the bass with the speakers
• CXARC bass knob (included) - full up while setting gain. The 25 Hz subsonic is built in, nothing to set.
• Mono amp power: CX800.1 up to 600 W, CX1200.1 up to 1200 W at 2 Ω. Set gain carefully and stay within your sub's rating.
• Factory speakers: CX360.4 HI 100 Hz. No sub: CX360.4 HI 60 Hz, mono gain at minimum.
