What is the Down-Firing Enclosure?

The PTRTP builds on the overwhelming success of our down-firing, thin-profile subwoofer enclosure by adding a signature KICKER amplifier to power it. Sporting a passive radiator and KICKER amplification, this box has been perfectly tuned and engineered from all angles, acoustic and electric, to be the absolute best-sounding, most-efficient, and loudest enclosure possible.

Trail Seven is Phenomenal!

"Ordered a Kicker KS bundle for my JL after doing a lot of research on T7 and mucho video watching of Iron Mike and his easy peasy plug and play installs, I honestly believe he could do them in his sleep. I then called T7 and spoke to a few incredibly helpful customer service reps, Courtney, Cassie & Ashley who helped steer me where I wanted to be with what I was looking for in a sound system based on many factors. In conversation I had jokingly asked if they happened to do installs on the gear expecting to get a no response and when they said yes I was floored and "knew" that this purchase and install was going down! Even though T7 make the entire process as simple as possible being plug and play, I knew that I didn't have the time or patience to tear my dash apart even if Mike made it look like buttering a biscuit, especially when it came to installing the knee speakers, running the sub to the tower and the wiring through the wall and to the battery. Long story short, I ran my girl up to T7, was greeted and treated like a King by some great people, got to meet the man himself, Iron Mike, a fantastic, knowledgeable, down to earth gentleman and then waited for an incredible install and an after install primer of the complete system by the competent T7 techs! Overall experience. . . was absolutely "Phenomenal" from price point of gear the super customer service and down to the excellent work of the install. . . I would "highly" recommend Trail Seven to anyone looking to upgrade and/or install a quality system. . . I could not be happier with this experience. . . . Delilah is rockin' like she never rocked before! Thanks Trail Seven!!"

Bass Sounds Great!

"I Installed the Kicker TRTP10 10" Down firing Sub Woofer in my JT Rubicon under the back seat in the storage bin area. I am a fan of the passive sub woofer radiator in this design for sure. The subwoofer is being driven by a Kicker LX 1200. 5 5 channel amplifier. This 10" sub enclosure creates clear, powerful, bass that does not over power the other speakers in the cabin of the Jeep JT. It can certainly thump those bass notes at higher volume / power levels so you can feel the bass outside of the Jeep. However, I prefer Sound Quality (SQ) over Sound Pressure Level (SPL) in my listening experience and the Kicker TRTP10 10" Down firing Sub Woofer creates bass that I feel in my solar plexus. Which is pure listening enjoyment me. I have been super happy with the performance of this 10" Kicker subwoofer in this all Kicker sound system in my JT Rubicon."

Booming bass

"This kicker system woke up our jk jeep wrangler system beyond belief. I also installed the six speaker system from kicker and they overall sound is excellent. The bass explodes in the back shaking the rear view mirror. It’s also rugged enough to pile things on top of it without worry."

Great addition to my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4x

"Recently installed the Kicker Powered Down subwoofer on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. Sound is night and day and the video instructions were simple to follow. Only downside is the length of the grounding wire. Makes for a very tight fit and the seat divider in the 4xe's is a little different than the carpet pull on the video. I will probably extend the power cables to provide some better placement flexibility. Other than that, it is a great product well worth the money."

Amazing in every way!

"Made all the difference in my Jeep. Previously had installed the Kicker plug and play speaker bundle from trail Seven in my 2 door JK and the sound was average, improved over the original stock speakers but still lacking. Adding this was the final piece to the puzzle. Now it sounds amazing. Install was fairly striaght forward, did use the video but had to figure a few things out since the video was for a 4 door/factory head unit and mine was a 2 door aftermarket head unit (also purchased from Tail Seven). With the rear seat in it is a very tight fit in the back of a 2 door JK so I was not able to secure it to the floor in the traditional manner. But once again the AMAZING folks at Trail Seven recomended and set up exactly what I asked for and need to take my sound to the next level."
